We introduced Evy to her Bumbo seat (purple thing pictured below for all of you non-parents) this weekend. Her neck is getting very strong, but she's still a little too small for the Bumbo. It's funny seeing her sit up. Also, when we visted the daycare I noticed they had a lot of the babies on their tummies in the boppy (bean shaped pillow for all of you non-parents) so we've been trying it out at home. She's doing really well lifting her head.....we've always known she is advanced.

Oh, my...you and every parent out there who thinks their perfect child is "advanced". Laughing! All my kids are advanced too. Aren't we lucky?
She's not crying. Is there something wrong with Evy? Just kidding, Emily! I am so excited to post on your blog without being rejected...
Of course she is advanced!
I too am excited to post without trying 3 times!

Overachiever, just like her mom!

Emily I really enjoy your blog and watching how Miss Evy is growing. I just wanted to tell you that I think she is absolutely beautiful. Nancy
Non-parent here! How do you even know about these items/toys? Is there a book that you get when you're pregnant that lists certain must-haves? I have not heard of any of these things and would have no clue...
I can attest to the fact that little Miss Evy is "advanced"! She knows exactly who she has wrapped around her little finger! One very smart cookie indeed!! Aunt Susie
-from working in a daycare i would be careful with the bumbo seat- we didn't use them because it doesn't let them use and develop their own muscles for sitting up-- use it sparingly until she is a bit older- letting her fall on a pillow will help her understand balance and sitting up
but you're awesome- and she is adorable- i love reading this blog!! :)
(and now i will head over to 'i used to pe a perfect mom' ;-) )
