Disney Cruise: Day at Sea

And from here, you will not see anymore pictures of me because I am now in bed with a 102 fever. So not awesome!

Will got fixated on Thor's hammer. This was all he wanted from the gift shop. He's a 3 year old boy with a hammer. Nothing good can come from this. I was sick in bed and could not prevent the purchase.

We had tickets to see the princesses and luckily the girls were still able to participate.

And then the girls went to the kids club to participate in Sloppy Science and Cookie Cooking camp and Will and Scott walked around the ship and drank. Will told me he got Coca-Cola.

Selfies on the deck. More drinks.

Still drinking...

Last night at dinner with Yhokey and Mahnu.

And the last hurrah was taking in the movie Coco.

Disney Cruise: Castaway Cay

Today we stopped at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. Will wanted to look at Hook and Smee but he didn't want to stand by them.

It was cool and cloudy again today. I'm glad I lugged these sand toys all the way from Iowa because they served as the primary entertainment during both beach days. The water was too cold!

After about 2 hours on the island it started to rain hard so we booked it back to the boat. A major disappointment as there were tons of activities on Castaway Cay that looked like fun.

Back on the ship I decided that we should take advantage of some of the activities. Will wanted to see Jake so I dragged the kids to the Pirates and Princess dance party.

The princesses were not thrilled to be there.

This is all the closer Will would get to Jake. But at least we officially saw Jake.

We ditched the pirates and princesses early to take an animation class. Everyone was whining about this one too, but then what do you know.....it was fun!!

Tonight was the Pirates In The Caribbean party. Everyone on the ship is dressed up like pirates. Even Chip and Dale.

At dinner we made the kids order something other than chicken. None of them were thrilled.

Why is there broccoli and chicken on my plate??

Chicken? Really?

Yhokey was our main server each night. He's helping cut up the kid's chicken.

Pirates In The Caribbean party on deck 9 complete with fireworks. It was raining in Castaway Cay so the captain drove us out of the rain for the celebration....that's pretty cool!

Doing so great for STILL running a fever. Lots of ibuprofen this week!

Disney Cruise: Port of Nassau

In Nassau we boarded a ferry for an excursion to the Blue Lagoon.

Beautiful weather today! We enjoyed the beach!

"Little Mommy" was a big help with Will on the cruise. On the ferry back to the ship he snuggled up with his "Little Mommy."

Then he fell asleep with "Big Mommy" holding him. Will no longer naps, but nodded off for awhile most afternoons.

Disney Cruise: Port of Key West

As luck would have it poor Charlie came down with a fever late Friday night and woke up in Key West with a 102 fever. We gave her some ibuprofen and borrowed a stroller from guest services and crossed our fingers that she could make it off the ship for a few hours.

Port of Key West, The Disney Magic

The Conch Train tour was a perfect way to see the island with a traveler who was under the weather.

We had a very quick drink at Sloppy Joe's and the kids were begging to head back to the boat. So, the Dads loaded up the kids and the Moms got to hang out in Key West for about an hour.

The Moms grabbed a drink at Hog's Breath Saloon and then proceeded to find a slice of key lime pie before meeting up with the crazy crew back on the ship.

We tried to swim again, but so so cold. Ugh!

We had reservations at Palo, the adult only restaurant on the ship. The food was amazing and our server Jhana was even better. It was a lovely evening until we got the call that the kids wanted to be picked up from the kids club. Boo!
