Bye Bye For Now

We are so bummed! One of our favorite families is moving to Europe. To help wish them goodbye the girls wanted to host a surprise going away party for their friends. So, we had 8-4th grade girls and 7-2nd grade girls over to party!

Bedside Sleepers

This Winter our house was feeling like Grand Central Station in the middle of the night. Someone constantly awake and waking me up to tell me about their bad dream, sore throat, hearing noises or wetting the bed. I couldn't make it on 6 hours of sleep any longer so I put this pillow on the floor beside our bed and now it's the place the kids go in the middle of the night when they are having trouble sleeping. No more waking Mom to tell her their troubles. Just lay down and go to sleep. It's working like a charm! 40% of the time Will occupies the space, 30% of the time it's Evy and the other 30% of the time it's empty. I admit I occasionally trip over a child when I wake up in the morning. Charlie is our champion sleeper so she rarely makes an appearance. 

Spring Break 2019

Mom and Dad spent the travel budget going to Jamaica which means Spring Break 2019 was a Staycation!

We went to Illinois to help Camryn celebrate her birthday.

Lady Bears Wrap Up

The girls worked with a skills coach over the summer and Evy improved a lot this year! From November to March the girls played in 6 (I think?) tournaments and had a lot of fun. They only lost 1 game in the North Dodge league. 

So much fun having lunch with the team in between games.

Garth Brooks in St. Louis

Seeing Garth Brooks in concert has been on my bucket list for awhile. Scott came through for Christmas with tickets to see Garth in St. Louis! 

We enjoyed BBQ before the show!

The crowd was CRAZY! The show started an hour late because they could not get everyone into the arena on time. 

Breakfast at Rooster. We really enjoyed the weekend away which allowed us to sleep, eat, and see a great show! 

Sparkle Squad

Charlie joined a fun new group at her dance studio. The Sparkle Squad provides two extra performance opportunities and one of those was at a Iowa Women's basketball game. So fun to watch the girls take the floor!

Charlie's Turn at Basketball

Charlie played in her first basketball league this winter. It was so much fun to watch her play with a great group of friends. She did so well, but did not like us cheering for her. She would glare at us in the stands if we cheered for her. Ha!
