The kids had a day off of school and since we've hardly seen the Jr. High student since school began I called a mandatory family fun day. We went to the apple orchard and had a blast picking Honey Crisp - we have never timed that right before so it was a nice surprise to come across a lot of apples still on the trees. We did have to pick from pretty high up - but no problem with Will on my shoulders. After we spent a bajillion dollars on apple cider donuts, apples and pumpkins we went up to Solon for lunch. The weather was perfect and it was nice to have all the kids together.
