Halloween

The girls kicked off Halloween by wearing their costumes to dance.

Evy Turns 8!

The celebration kicked off in early October when we got together with Scott's side of the family. 

Immediately after the party Evy spent her Build-A-Bear gift cards.

Officially 8 years old!

Evy got to have two friends spend the night on her birthday.

Slumber party donut run!

Then, she got to have all of the rest of her friends join her for an ice skating party!

Pumpkin Patches

We were able to hit up two pumpkin patches this Fall. The girls didn't have school on October 10 so we took a trip with some friends to Bloomsbury Farms.

Then, later in the month we made it to Colony Pumpkin Patch!

Run for the Schools!

Charlie, Evy and I completed the 1 mile fun run for our schools! We had to get up super early! The girls did great, starting and finishing strong. There may have been a little walking in the middle. After the race we enjoyed a big stack of pancakes at Blue Bird Cafe.

Book of Mormon

Scott and I snuck away from the madness for a bit and enjoyed Book of Mormon at our brand new Hancher Auditorium. Hancher was completely rebuilt after the flood of 2008 and I am thrilled to have this facility back online. The show was great and almost made us forget that we did not eat dinner that night. We went out to eat before the show but the restaurant was so slow at preparing our food we had to leave without eating!

Raking Leaves

We discovered that it is too chaotic to take all of the kids along to Evy's basketball games. So, one parent stays home with Charlie and Will while the other takes Evy. Of course this only works when both parents are available, but we're trying.

So, while Evy and Scott were at basketball I kept these two crazy kids entertained with a tiny pile of leaves. They thought it was so fun to rake the leaves in a pile and jump!
