Halloween 2017

So much fun packed into a few weeks.

We kicked the holiday off with an adult only Halloween party. Scott and I went as "Pat".

Charlie (I mean Evie from the Descendants) got to wear her costume to dance class.

Evy Turns 9!

I picked the girls up after school and we were on our way to Grandma's and Papa's house. 

Within 5 minutes of arriving everyone changed into Halloween costumes and we were trick or treating!

Evy requested that Papa make initial pancakes for all of the girls. 

It was cold and windy so we asked Papa to create a craft project for the crew. Everyone got to design and paint their own pumpkin.

Thank you grandma and Papa for hosting this crazy crew. 

After we got back home Evy requested Mexican for her birthday dinner. She was super embarrassed to have them sing to her. So, we avoided that but still got to wear the sombrero.

A: The lockers. 

The stressful bus field trip

Every year at Will's preschool the class takes a city bus ride. As part of the ride they get to go through the super big bus wash. Charlie loved doing this. Will on the other hand hates car washes and wanted nothing to do with this field trip. He told me for days that he didn't want to do it. Ugh. So, I talked to his teacher and she came up with a great plan. Will rode the bus and then when they got to the bus wash he and a teacher got off the bus. He got to push the button to make the wash door go down. Then, he and the teacher walked to the other side of the building and got back on the bus after it was washed. Thank goodness Will's teacher is awesome and always seems to have a solution! They said he didn't cry on the ride but definitely had his worried face on. 

Run for the Schools

We wake up super early. Run a little, walk a lot. And then eat a super bad for us breakfast. So fun!

Current Morning Routine

5:40 wake up call for me, head to the gym from 6 to 7. 

Return home about 7 a.m. and find the girls barely out of bed. 

Scott wakes the girls up at 6:45 and gets breakfast going. 

From 7:15 to 7:30 I shout "Get dressed, brush your teeth, go to the bathroom, where are your socks, get your shoes on, put your coat on, get your bag" about 1,000 times. 

Slowly making progress towards the door. 

At about 7:35 Scott and the girls head to school and work. 

I quickly shower and then wake Will up around 8:00.

On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday we are out the door at 8:45. 

Preschool starts at 9:00.

And then Mom frantically runs errands, makes phone calls, gets some work hours in and picks Will back up at Noon.

Apple Orchard Adventure

The girls had a no school day and the weather was beautiful so off to the pumpkin patch we went. Adventures are always more fun with all 3 kids are along for the fun.

Took us awhile to find trees with apples. 

But then we suddenly had more apples than we needed!
