Sesame Street Live is coming to town next month. I am sooooo tempted to take Evy. However, my "inner common sense-fun killer" is telling me to wait. Tickets would be about $25 each. Those are for good seats--which I think we would need to keep her attention. If we were in row 50 I think she'd be paying more attention to the person in front of us. I would have to take the day off work and the program is 90 minutes long. Hmmmm....

I guess the best indicator as to the success/fun of the event would be if Evy has ever encountered human beings walking around as costumed creatures. Lila is absolutely PETRIFIED of this sort of thing. Most recent discovery: Easter Bunny=evil. She's not down with sports mascots (poor Herky) and don't get me started on Santa Claus. If Evy isn't scared of this type of stuff, go for it, sounds like fun (plus, Elmo and the gang might be far enough away that she wouldn't feel anxious.) But, if you think she might be frightened, maybe better to wait another year or so. Please post what you decide!
Go for it! We hit all those shows that come to town and the boys just love it! I am hoping this ones comes here as Carson is very into "Melmo" right now! Last night we did Disney on Ice and their faces were just pure joy seeing Mickey and friends! ~Dawn
She would love it but will remember it if you wait until she is older.
(Just this ole gma's opinion!?!)
We took Madison was she was about two and a half and I have to say it was a waste of money. It was the US Cellular Center, and we were too far away for it to hold her attention. My advice is that if you go, you need to be closer so it will keep her engaged. ~Becky
We went last December and Ella LOVED it, we sprung for the expensive seats and she was a little scared when the characters were into the audience, but that wore off once Elmo came close! If you go, it's for YOU to see the joy on her face. We went as a family and I don't regret it.
