Bubba
I have lots of nicknames for Evy but the one that comes out, most often, when I address her is "Bubba." Maybe it's my rural upbringing. My mother has pointed out that I need a new nickname for Evy. I call the boys "noodles" as in "hey noodles, get in the van". I started with bubba and buddy and some how I blurted out boo-bee one day. Jack said "did you just call me boo-bee?"...so noodles became our safe nickname:)
Alex is "bug" and Lila is "nugget"...just kinda evolved that way. Addressing the kids together, I often call them "Storm Troopers" ...not sure why. There are also times when I call Alex "skittles" and I don't know why that is, either. Gosh, parents are strange, huh? ;)
That's alright - Veda is Buddy. Can't wait for Buddy and Bubba to have their playdate;)
