There were a bunch of money sucking hooligans in town yesterday. Oh wait, I guess it's called a circus. Yes, we took Evy to her first circus! She loved the pony ride and pink cotton candy and said, "The funny clown was my best!" I think she meant her favorite. She begged us to ride the elephant but at $10 per rider we opted to find a different (aka free) distraction.

Poor little thing will probably never get the chance to ride an elephant again. Papa would have taken her.

Hey! I was at the circus also on Tuesday and was one of those suckers that paid $10 per person (three of us--myself, Madison, and Garrett) to ride the elephant! I have always wanted to ride an elephant! It was awesome...kind of scary once I got up there. I was more scared than the kids...the mother in me started thinking...what if the elephant goes nuts all of the sudden what do I do?. etc!
