This morning as I was flipping to the Disney channel I came across Lady Gaga's Alejandro video and paused because I like the song. WHOA! Have you seen this video? It is totally X-rated. I moved quickly on to "Handy Manny" becuse I did not want Evy to see what Lady Gaga was doing. Actually the video is reminiscent of Madonna, but I don't ever remember being shocked by Madonna. Must be an age thing and just one more sign that I've crossed over to the "mature" side of life. Darn it...
The video is really long, but the shocking stuff starts around the 4:30 minute mark. You're curious now, aren't you?

- I'm a career-oriented convert! After earning a masters degree and setting my sights on professional growth I gave it all up (mostly) for motherhood. For the two years I worked full time as a mother I constantly felt guilty that I was leaving my baby in daycare for 50 hours a week. Opportunity knocked and I requested a demotion that would allow me to stay home part-time. What a nice change of pace! I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, employee, and co-worker who now has a nice work-life balance. But, I still haven't figured out how to fit in regular exercise again. That might be an ongoing battle...

And funny you should mention that song anyway because I think Lady Gaga is a total Madonna copycat. Remember Madonna's song "La Isla Bonita"? I guarantee she was channeling that when she was thinking about Alejandro and Roberto. Puh-leeze.
All I could think of through the whole thing was WTF?!?!?!?!?!
Oh, my! I must have crossed that line with you because I was a bit uncomfortable watching this-- BY MYSELF!
