Where Does All The Junk Come From?

Do you ever feel like your house is just full of junk? Everywhere I look there is junk! It gets worse when we're busy and I don't take the time to manage our crap and last night it about put me over the edge. Junk drawers that are so full they won't close, coupons that need to be filed, three days of daycare "artwork" on the counter, junk mail that needs to be tossed, and at any given time at least three pairs of Evy's socks on the floor. I went a little crazy and threw a bunch of stuff out last night--at least one of the junk drawers will now close.

*Disclosure--this picture is not of my house. I'm not quite there yet.

Yes. And I wonder how that's possible with only one child. How do people do it with more than that??

Trust me...with 2, it is much worse. You really just start tossing everything!

Yep, this sounds familiar. The constant crapola that clutters my breakfast bar is currently killing me. No matter what I do to clear it, the pile magically reappears aaargh!!!

Two words: garage sale.

Have you noticed that once you make it to Goodwill with a crammed full bag of stuff for them, that once you get home there are at least two new things to start a new bag with THE SAME DAY!?!? Or is that just me?

I just did some junk drawer cleaning over the weekend. I also tackled half of a closet that was out of control. I didn't have the energy for the whole thing. I just start tossing things in the garbage. If I haven't used it in a year, probably not going to start today!
