On my way to work this morning I saw a man jogging with a poodle. That just didn't seem right.

- I'm a career-oriented convert! After earning a masters degree and setting my sights on professional growth I gave it all up (mostly) for motherhood. For the two years I worked full time as a mother I constantly felt guilty that I was leaving my baby in daycare for 50 hours a week. Opportunity knocked and I requested a demotion that would allow me to stay home part-time. What a nice change of pace! I am a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, employee, and co-worker who now has a nice work-life balance. But, I still haven't figured out how to fit in regular exercise again. That might be an ongoing battle...

I know what you mean. It seems like they should be lounging with a latte while having their nails done.
They might seem fancy, but they do actually require a lot of exercise. Plus they are hypo-allergenic and non-shedding. Really great bread and why so many of them are hybrid-breeds--aka labra-doodle. That being said, was the poodle style with bows...that would have been hysterical.
Just a couple of days ago, a woman jogged past my house with not one but two of the hugh poodles! One was white and the other was black. It struck me funny, too!! So yes, I guess poodles do jog!! >^..^<
These poodles weren't wearing bows, just smiles, smiles with very sharp looking teeth!! >^..^<
