Scott's mom gave us this red plate to be used for special occasions. The idea is that whoever has a special day gets to eat their dinner off of this special red plate. It will be a lot of fun to use as Evy gets older. On Monday Scott got to eat off the red plate because HE ACCEPTED A NEW JOB!!!!!!!!!! A new job that doesn't require regular overnight travel. I am so excited I might just let him eat off the red plate for the rest of the month!

I'll be working for a subsidiary of River Products called Petroleum Services Company. I'll run the company which involves oil and gas distribution, convenience stores, truck plazas, etc. I'm really looking forward to the challenge. For those of you that didn't know...Emily said there wouldn't be another baby until I found a job that didn't require constant travel. Well...I got the job so we'll see about that baby!!!

I am in major catch-up mode here... but CONGRATULATIONS!! We're one week down on his 6 week hiatus (home on the weekends, thank GOD!). He will definitely need a new job before baby talk!!
