I was having lunch with a friend who is also due in October and we ran into a friend of hers who just had a baby a few weeks ago. Somehow it came out that we should go buy Depends now to spare our husbands the embarrassment of having to buy them once the baby arrives. Seriously? What other glamorous things have I not yet learned about pregnancy?

DEPENDS!! I don't recall it as that bad ....I mean it's "crappy" but this is new to me. What does your mom think? Maybe we didn't have this item 20 years ago. LOL

jzmgvxdvNothing against DEPENDS, but I don't think I could wear them even if my life,say.... depended on them. HA!! Please, Emily, don't do this to yourself. Scott will always remember and probably be scarred for life! Your dependable Aunt down south. P.S. Listen to your Mom on this one!
I have never used Depends, but I did hand off the remainder of my package of "overnight" (GINORMOUS) maxi pads to a friend who recently delivered.
Let me tell you something. Once you've delivered a baby in front of a roomful of strangers, you will no longer be concerned about whether it is embarrassing for your husband to buy maxi pads, nursing pads, Depends, hemorrhoid cream, stool softener, or anything else that you need BECAUSE YOU GAVE BIRTH TO HIS SPAWN.
Worry about the big things. This is not one of them. LOL!
