On Thursday we got a chance to see Evy's new elementary school during Kindergarten Round Up. Evy has been at the same daycare center since she was 3 months old so this is going to be a big transition for all of us! She got to spend a couple of hours in one of the Kindergarten rooms while we met the principal and learned more about the school. None of her preschool classmates will be at the same elementary school, but we know several other families at the school and Evy has some good friends who will be starting Kindergarten with her, so hopefully this will help with the transition. Evy said her favorite part of Kindergarten Round Up was the snack and playing outside on the playground after it was over. I asked her if she felt excited, nervous, or both and she said she thinks that she would just like to stay at her preschool.
