A month after we purchased this playhouse at Costco Scott's friend told him it took 8 hours to put together. Sooooo.....the playhouse has been in a box, in our basement, for a year. To help Scott out (and get this project completed before the girls leave for college) I called in reinforcements.
At 9:45 a.m. Scott started unpacking all of the pieces. According to Scott and Papa Jake the instruction manual was 38 pages long and there were 1 million pieces.
By 10:30 the playhouse had 2.5 walls and Scott and Papa were both looking enthusiastic.
By 1:30 p.m. the girls were playing in their new house!
Evy wanted to play restaurant all day long. Charlie went in 5 minute shifts. 5 minutes playing in the playhouse, 5 minutes in our house.

This made me laugh! We got the same playhouse last summer and it took Jeremy 15 hours. I think the manual said something like - "3 hours to set up". It's now for sale!
