Do you know how much a new garbage disposal costs? I'm not talking about the mark up and labor for installation if you had someone else do the work. I'm talking about walking into a hardware store and buying one for yourself. $140! That is NOT a fun way to blow $140. The stupid thing goes under your kitchen sink and chops up your food. If I'm spending $140 I want it to be on something fun. Or, at least on something that can be worn on your feet...wink wink...like a new pair of shoes.
Thanks to my dad who saved us at least $150 by doing the installation for us. Maybe I should go spend that $150 on something fun...

Just think, someday you and Scott will be doing the same for Miss Evy and Corndog Jr. Maybe it won't be a garbage disposal but it's nice to have parents who are always willing to help out! You are so lucky!!(and so is C.L.) >^..^< Now go have some fun!!
I feel your pain, we had to replace ours about a year ago and it cost $200 plus labor--sometimes it's no being a home owner. Go Hawks! -Bridget
