The photos don't do it justice, but I wanted to show you the gorgeous blanket that my co-worker Tina knitted for Baby C. It's Hawkeye yellow, but that's not the only thing that makes it great. It's very soft and just the right size. Can't wait to use it this fall!
I don't have any talents related to creating anything so talented people always amaze me. Maybe that's why I like Project Runway so much!

What a great gift. My skill set in the craft/sewing/knitting world is negative ZERO. I can't even sew on a button for crying out loud.
Which reminds me, the stinkin dry cleaners tore off one of my buttons on the sleeve of my shirt that I have on today. Apparently I will have to ask them if they can sew it back on, otherwise I will never wear it again.
P.S. I still have my baby blanket. No, I don't sleep with it, but it kind of freaked Jaime out that I still have it. He wouldn't even touch it. I want to pass it along to my kids someday, is that gross?
Did Amy ever tell you that I had to sew her swimsuit top back together on our honeymoon??? HA! It probably wasn't the best sew job, but I did manage to tie a few knots with the thread to hold it together..

Depending on what shape your baby blanket is in, yea that's kind of gross :-)
I had a suit from Newport News that was super cheap (lesson learned: dont ever get suits from there)and the strap broke on the h-moon. Our room had a little travel sewing kit so Jaime gave it a whirl and he actually fixed it enough to get by for a day in the sun. In case you're wondering, yes, I brought more than 1 suit, but it's a little humid in Riveria Maya so it took awhile for each suit to dry after wearing it so I had to wear semi-fixed one for a day while my others dried out. I should have just not worn anything at all and that would have made for a much better story!!!
Very nice gift! Too bad we don't have any talent!!
