Christmas at Grammy's and Papa's

Uncle Dave helping Will aim his new Nerf gun.

The Girls

Lobster time! Yum!

Oh Char! One of her main wants for Christmas was a foot spa. Funny girl!

Loving on Higgins.

Christmas Day 2018

Getting ready to go to bed so that Santa can come!

The girls woke us up at 7 a.m. and then woke Will up. Time to open presents!!

Evy got new bedding. She mostly asked for items for her room.

Dude Perfect football and disk equals more trick shots!!

Santa brought Will a remote control car and a Hawkeye football uniform. He got his cool monster slippers and Dude Perfect T-shirt from Mom and Dad.

The kids had a very specific request for their Christmas morning breakfast. They asked for reindeer but said these turned out to look more like dogs.

Charlie's new mug and new sweatshirt.

Christmas at Grandma's and Papa's

What fun this crazy crew had together!

Papa helping Evy put together her hover board seat.

The weather was nice and the kids were nuts so we headed outside for a walk. We ended up deep in the woods because Papa is crazy.

Charlie got a makeup kit for Christmas and told Grandma she would make all of her wrinkles disappear.

Christmas Traditions

Lots of things to do and traditions to complete this time of year.

Not a tradition, but a fun new thing to do. Breakfast with Santa at Hy-Vee!

Christmas baking. First up, almond bark covered pretzels.

Crushing peppermints for cookies.

LOTS of sprinkles....

....means lots of vacuuming!

Elfie hanging out with Santa.

Gingerbread houses!

Annual adopt-a-family gift wrapping.

The little elf is ready to deliver the gifts.

Annual adult only holiday party.

Will's preschool Christmas program.

He did such a good job. Singing loud and doing all of the moves. So fun to watch!

Emily's Birthday

Evy told Scott that she really wanted to go to Target and get something for my birthday. I was immediately nervous. To my surprise I received these one piece Uni-Kitty pajamas from my wonderful children! These pajamas have all of the bells and whistles; a zipper, a tail, a horn and pockets. I am so lucky!

For dinner we went to Mosley's with Grandma and Papa. The kids spent loads of money on the arcade games.

The Faux-Hawk Phase

Will has started asking to use some of Scott's hair gel to create a mohawk so at his most recent haircut he got his hair styled into a faux-hawk. Cute, cute, cute!
