Disney Day 3: Hollywood Studios

This was my favorite day. Our kids love Star Wars and know more about the movies than I do.

Lots of time on the bus!

We arrived at the park early to get in line for Jedi Training. After 45 minutes in line the girls had a spot reserved in the 12:45 training camp.

By the time 12:45 rolled around Charlie was not sure about this Jedi Training. She did not want to have to fight Darth Vader. We did resort to bribery to get her to participate.

All the Jedi's await the battle.

I think something evil is coming out of the temple!

Jedi Charlie ponders what she has gotten herself into.

Jedi Evy learns to use her lightsaber.

Oh no! Darth Vader!

Oh my! The Seventh Sister!

Evy fights the Seventh Sister!

Charlie prepares for battle.

Charlie defeats the Seventh Sister!

Use the force! It's Kylo Ren! Jedi Charlie is backing away from Kylo Ren's stare.

The Force is strong! Kylo Ren has nearly retreated to the temple. Jedi Charlie feels safer in the back row.

Even strong Jedis need their sister.

Throughout the day the Imperial March comes down main street. I don't even care for Star Wars and I thought the march was really cool.

You can fall into line behind the storm troopers and march with them for awhile.

There are a few non Star Wars attractions as well. We ran into Olaf!

Probably one of our favorite character meetings; Chewbacca!

The Tower of Terror is in the background. We didn't tell the kids anything about it beforehand.

Action shot from the Tower of Terror. Evy says she kinda liked it and kinda didn't.

Disney Day 2: Magic Kingdom

On day 2 we went back to Magic Kingdom for a full day at the park. We started off with Disney's Philharmagic which proved that the magic at Disney's World truly is in the shows and performers. We loved the show and decided to catch as many shows as possible during our trip.

Next, we had breakfast at Cinderella's castle where we got to first meet Cinderella and then have Aurora, Snow White, Ariel, and Jasmine stop by our table. This was a pretty slick way to meet all of the princesses without having to stand in line.

We were able to catch a welcome ceremony for Princess Elena. She is the newest princess so they were welcoming her to Magic Kingdom.

The crowds were low at the park so we enjoyed the short lines. We were able to race each other at Tomorrowland Speedway.

The parade was so fun. Lots of great floats and characters. We were standing directly in the sun so our pictures did not turn out so well.

Meeting Princess Tiana:

 And Rapunzel

We didn't have enough energy to last until fireworks but the girls did want to sneak one last character meeting in for the night so we saw Tinkerbell before heading back to the bus.

Disney Day 1: Magic Kingdom

We arrived at Disney around 2 p.m. and were able to check into our room and head out to the park by 3:00. It was really exciting to see Cinderella's castle and see the expression on the girls' faces.

Our first ride was Aladdin's Magic Carpets

While we were riding on the Magic Carpets we noticed that Aladdin and Jasmine were right next door! So, we waited in line for our first princess meet and greet of the trip!

The girls and I took a spin on the teacups.

Couldn't miss the Dumbo ride!

By the end of the night we were all exhausted and the girls nearly fell asleep on the train.

We got to meet Princess Elena of Avalor....the girls were very excited about this. They have been loving her new show on Disney TV. They also got to meet Cinderella.

We had just enough energy left to stick around for the amazing fireworks show. The castle had just been decorated for Christmas/Winter so the light effects were amazing.
